Voice of Reason
I know this will sound silly, but I had very little interest in this....what happened? Mayweather won how?

Wireman
There seems to be a lot of people who think last night was a work.
Voice of Reason
It sounds like MacGregor actually won a couple rounds early. Good for him that he didn't embarrass himself.
John Anthony
Match was over before it ever began. This fight went exactly how Floyd scripted it, let him use all of his energy early then finish him off late. Floyd was a true pro and finished his career like a seasoned vet. oldgrappler
Yep, but it wasn't a professional boxing match. As far as I'm concerned Floyd Mayweather was 49-0 in the boxing ring and 1-0 in the circus ring. An old Floyd Mayweather defeated an amateur boxer. Had MacGregor faced a bigger puncher (like GGG) he would have swallowed his mouth piece by the second round. But you do have to hand it to Floyd, he did exactly what he had planned in that bout. For MacGregor, he should be happy he lasted as long as he did. He looked like a fighter and did as well as could be expected. That is a lot to ask of someone who is not a professional boxer, to go 10 rounds with the best boxer in the last 20 years or more. The luck of the Irish...
