June 7, 20179 yr Heard Clay Travis on the radio and he basically challenged Shaun King to take a genetic test to prove that he's black and if he is more than 25% black, Clay Travis will donate $50K to the charity of Shaun King's choice. This all came about because Shaun King is calling for a boycott over Colin Kapernick. Seems Clay Travis is sick of people talking about Colin Kapernick. Although, in my opinion, Clay Travis talks about him more than anyone else lol. I'm sure Shaun King will tell him to kick rocks and I don't blame him.
June 7, 20179 yr Clay Travis is just flat awful. I tried giving him a go when the local ESPN channel changed programming and I just couldn't do it. It's like he goes on each day to see if he can top the stupid extreme position he took the day before. He's a really bad version of Cowherd. And since going to Fox Cowherd has gotten just terrible.

I am starting to listen to him more and more, but that is usually dependent on what Mike & Mike are discussing. Nothing against Dick Vermeil this morning but it took me over to Clay.
June 7, 20179 yr Clay Travis has become the shock jock king. He's awful. I agree 100%. If Travis really wanted, he could probably have the most thought provoking, insightful show on the air. He's a very smart guy and could really put out a insightful show; however, he doesn't want to. Part of me doesn't blame him because he wants to grow his brand and make more money with his current format. He wants to keep pushing to envelope and be controversial. The only problem is that people like Travis always wind up hanging themselves with the creative rope they've been given. Travis reminds me so much of early-90's Jim Rome and it's only a matter of time before he has a Jim Everett climbing over a table trying to beat the tar out of him.

No. Is he good enough to be a starter for a team in 2017? Absolutely. Just say the truth. He's being blackballed because of his protest because that is the truth.

How did he lie to get a scholarship to get a scholarship reserved for black students only when he went to a historically black college? To my knowledge there are no scholarships reserved for black students only at Morehouse College and my research on the Oprah Winfrey Endowed Scholarship Fund doesn't say anything about people having to be black to receive the scholarship. You just have to be a student at Morehouse which is what Shaun King was. From Wikipedia: In 1990, entertainer Oprah Winfrey pledged to put 100 men through Morehouse. The difference with Rachel and Shaun is that Rachel's parents outed her as white. To this day the official public story about Shaun King is that he has a black father he never knew. If his mom lied to him that isn't his fault. Rachel knowingly lied about being black. She said she was a victim of hate crimes when she wasn't. Didn't she go as far as darkening her skin in an effort to be black? Rachel proved to have some mental issues going on and she doubled down on being black for quite some time before finally admitting that she was white. Her story is unfortunate. Shaun King hasn't come close to any of Rachel Dolezal's issues and if we're going to be honest we all know that if Shaun King wasn't fighting the fight against the police that he has been fighting then not one person would care about who is father is. The effort to discredit Shaun King has been hard and strong for a while. I don't agree with a lot of things Shaun King has said and done but whether or not he is biracial is a non issue to me and the fact that people care as much as they do is mind boggling to me.
