May 11, 20179 yr We looked into going to another all Sounds fun. We stayed on Marathon a few years ago, but drove over to Key West a couple of days. Had a great time...would do it again. In Key West we rented mo-peds and had a blast. On Marathon we went to the Turtle Hospital...great visit! I don't recommend the fried key lime pie unless you like sweet things that taste really good and make you want more.
May 11, 20179 yr Fact! When kids are around 8-9. Many parent make ther mistake of taking very young ones there. It's a very costly mistake. My family tired to get me to go this year. No way!

May 11, 20179 yr My family tired to get me to go this year. No way! My brother and parents just got back from taking my 2 year old niece...She can't wait to go back. Loved every second of it. We aren't sure when we're going to go, but it'll probably be in the next year or 2. Wife and I have been wanting to go for a long time but thought it'd be awkward if we didn't have a kid to take. :lol2:

May 11, 20179 yr We had an option of flying from CVG to Atlanta and then to Antigua, but it was a 55 minute layover in ATL and I wasn't comfortable with that in that airport. Talked the wife into knocking the trip down from 7 days to 6. Now we are flying into Miami and I believe Charlotte on the way home. Sandals offered my friend a package, but the flights were in a round about manner and it would take almost a whole day to get there. They changed to Delta. Don't get me wrong, they are super excited to be going, and the place looks fantastic. They were just disappointed at how difficult it was to reschedule. Please let us know how you liked it. If I remember, I will tell you how they liked it in September.
May 11, 20179 yr We loved our Sandals experience to Emerald Bay - Exuma Bahamas back in 2014! No flight problems and the resort was beautiful!
May 11, 20179 yr My wife and I honeymooned at Sandals Royal Caribbean and had plans to go back this year for our 10th Anniversay but life happened. We hope to be able to go next year. I think my sister has been to the Sandals Antigua. Asking her now. I think Sandals is the best vacation resort to go to. Expensive but I think it is worth every penny.

If I remember, I will tell you how they liked it in September. If I remember, I will ask you as well. We tried to find flights on our end and it was a mess. You're right about that. Everything we found had 12-18 hour lay overs. We called the travel agent through Triple AAA and she found us something much more ideal, which we're doing.
