May 11, 20179 yr My sister said it is beautiful, quiet and secluded and that the customer service is amazing.
May 11, 20179 yr Have heard it's outstanding. Wife and I were all ready to start booking a return trip to St. Lucia last spring for this coming fall when we found the two of us was about to be three. Now that trip has been changed to a Disney trip. :lol2: I'm going to start a thread in a few days discussing my experiences with Disney and give my recommendations on everything. I've been going every year for basically the past 20 years. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

July 19, 20179 yr Author Apparently Sandals Antigua is closing their resort in September for up to 5 months, which totally screwed us. Thankfully working with their reps and the airline, we will now be going to Sandals St. Lucia. Pricier but anything in addition should be covered by Sandals. The initial news sure was frustrating but after a day or two of letting them get their ducks in a row, I've been pretty impressed with their customer service.

Which one are you staying at in St. Lucia? We did the Halcyon one. It's a lot smaller and quieter than the other two they have there, but we loved it.

July 19, 20179 yr We are going to be at the Grande. Wife chose. I guess we are allowed to venture to the other two, if we wish. Yes. If you are at any of the resorts you can spend as much or little time at any of the three as you like, just have to return to yours to sleep! :lol2: The Grande is the biggest, and was explained to us as the party resort. Not really sure what that means, but that's how the travel agent explained it. La Toc is next biggest and while not the party that the Grande is, is fairly large as well. Halycon Beach is the smallest (think it has 120ish rooms) of the three. Grande and La Toc have more options as far as activities and dining, etc. We ventured to La Toc one day, but never made it to the Grande. La Toc was very nice, but we felt out of place (we were used to our quiet resort) and chose to return after just a couple hours.

Mrs. C1 and i went to Montego Bay Jamaica 21 years ago last week for our honeymoon and had a blast. And i haven't heard a complaint since from those who have gone to a Sandals resort since. Eat well, drink well, and utilize as many of the water sports as possible. I'm a fish when on vacation ( play like one and drink like one ). We figured by mid-week the vacation had paid for itself by the amount of all inclusive food, drink, snorkeling, sailing, water skiing we had partaked in! Sorry to hear about the let down with Antigua. I think you'll be fine in St. Lucia. Enjoy yourselves! :thumb:
