May 7, 20179 yr Pleasantly surprised by this announcement. According to Knox's dad, Kevin and Bamba are really tight so hopefully that is a positive going forward. UK assistant coach Vince Marrow played a role in assuaging any concerns the family had about UK based on his relationship with Kevin Knox's dad. Still another fish or two to hook this month.
May 9, 20179 yr From things I've read online, from the minute Grayson Allen announced he was coming back for his senior season, Knox no longer considered Duke. They both play the 3 and Knox was not going somewhere and play out of position at the 4, where Trent,Jr. also plays. So UK fans can thank Grayson for what really wasn't a shocking a decision as some think. It probably had been between UK and FSU for weeks now

They also said one of the big selling points that UK pitched was that he was a position-less player and wasn't going to be pigeon-holed into the 3 spot. Said the Kentucky staff envisions him playing the 2, 3, & 4 spots and they were the only ones that brought up him being a 2.
