So where do you draw the line? That's a poor argument IMO. The guys at Enron were still performing their job just fine too, they made a "moral miscue". Perhaps we should have just overlooked that as well.

I just saw the interview for the first time. It seemed like it was Bin Laden's comments about the withdrawl from Somalia that upset Clinton.

 

I don't know who to believe Bin Laden or Bin Lying and Cheatin. Lying and Cheatin seemed to get very defensive. Typically a sign of guilt.

Yes, but there is reason to believe that the Bush administration chose to go with the evidence that there were WMD in Iraq and ignore some evidence to the contrary. We also know that many of the key players in the Bush administration were on record as favoring an invasion of Iraq as early as the late 1990s.

I have to agree with the 9/11 commission report. Both administrations made mistakes. Now we need to move on as a country.

Question, why are we now allowing items back past the checkpoints now? Do you think all of a sudden these items are fine? I don't! It's just a convenience to take these items off the list, plus for money! We are still gambling with live at airports in the country. Do you actually think the terrorist will not try to get around this now?

Well given the events of 9/11 and the fact that the CIA gave Clinton and Bush information that said that Iraq had or intended to have WMD's how can anyone blame Bush for his decision. If he thought there was a possibility that terrorist could end up with chemical, biological, or heaven forbid nuclear weapons I don't blame him. A few Cruise Missles wouldn't do the trick I don't believe.

The site that was alleged to be a chemical weapons plant based upon soil samples was actually in the Sudan and not Iraq. The US bombed that site the same day they bombed sites in Afghanistan. At the time it was claimed that the plant had ties the Al Queda network and Bin Laden. Since then the US has admitted that they made a mistake and that the plant produced legitimate pharmaceuticals.
