The rest of the world's obsession with soccer. I just don't think it's entertaining.

Why people have such a hard time getting along. I've always found it to be a very easy thing to do.

I don't understand a lot of teen speak. If you read some kids tweets, or facebook status updates it's just crazy. I have to use urban dictionary to help interpret what they're saying. Just to explain a little further, reading said social media posts is always work related.

 

I'm wondering who on here knows what a thot is?

Agreed, during high school I struggled to realize that some people just aren't capable of doing the same. Not something I struggle with today.

Some of their posts, it's like reading a foreign language. You eventually just start to look for words or phrases you recognize.

I dont understand why people will wait in a drive through line for 20 minutes, when they could just go in and order the stuff and ne out in 5 minutes.

I grew up in a place called "Kalb Community". We stepped outside and the only thing that mattered was that there were other kids to play with. White, Black, Hispanic, Oriental. It did not matter. All of our dads reported to the same Commanding Officer.

 

When I graduated from high school, I went to college back in "the world". (That's what we called "the states".) I could not believe the segregation in the city. Blacks and Whites lived no where near each other.

 

Flash forward. On vacation. My youngest is kinda doing what I did: Stepping outside and the only thing that matters is that there are other kids to play with. Black, Hispanic, Oriental, white. Does not matter. Time's a wasting before we all have to go home.

Good grief, people. This is the break room. Can we all just have an opinion without the back and forth?
