Yes, it is a down year for Cooper, so expectations are the birds should dominate them. On a bigger point, fans are looking for "changes" such as guys going both ways and stronger defensive game plan. no matter who they are playing, the first game will tell a lot.

 

Given last year I think it's foolish to think HHS will dominate good teams until they've proven they're back.

Not sure why anyone would think Highlands would dominate Cooper. Yes Cooper has a lot of young guys but I just came from a 7 on 7 with SK going against Cooper and they held there own and they were missing one of their best defensive players safety Schlarmem. WR Dillon Perry and Jerimah Lee dominated the SK defense.

Last year I didn't hear anything that Cooper was having a down year. Only 6A NKY team that lost to the Birds.

I don't think Cooper will have a down year just that they are young. There is a lot of talent and speed on the squad they will put up points just not sure how they will jell on defense.

Good kid. I coached him in FTJFL. He's got a high motor. He did great as a frosh too. He will definitely help out that varsity defense this year.

He is back. Working with defensive backs. Very explosive.
