Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Hyundai pull advertising from Bill O'Reilly's show amid sexual harassment accusations - Chicago Tribune

Seems FOX News political pundit Bill O'Reilly is under fire for sexual harassment allegations.

He and Fox paid $13 million dollars to accusers.

This comes just months after Roger Ailes stepped down after sexual harassment allegations.

I skimmed that article real quick, it is extra light on any incriminating facts beyond one contributor got dropped from the show after allegedly refusing to go back to O'Reiley's hotel room.

Advertisers Flee Fox'''s Bill O'''Reilly Show Amid Sexual Harassment Lawsuits - NBC News

Here's another.

I think it's safe to say--if true--- FOX has a serious work climate issue. I wonder if that factored in to Megyn Kelly's departure.

I skimmed that article with a little less attention and it is a shame all these woman took the money and signed confidentiality agreements instead of exposing the wrongdoing.

I am not trying to defend Bill, I just would like some more substance.

Money buys a lot of confidentiality agreements. Just the way it is.

Pots meet kettles.

I'm lost here. Are you saying that Mercedes, BMW, Hyundai and the like are known for suxual abuse/work climate issues?

Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, BMW of North America, Mitsubishi Motors, Lexus, Constant Contact, Bayer, Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Orkin, UNTUCKit, Allstate, Esurance (which is owned by Allstate), T. Rowe Price, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, Credit Karma, Wayfair, The Wonderful Company, TrueCar, the Society for Human Resource Management and Coldwell Banker are pulling ads from "The O'Reilly Factor" after a report about five settlements with women who alleged sexual harassment or verbal abuse by O'Reilly.

It occurs to me that costing most any company $13 million in hush money gets you fired. At Fox News, it apparently gets you a raise.

O'Reilly is basically his own brand and empire. I think he calls his own shots.

He has seemed subdued the past couple of days on his show. Raise or not it does not look good going forward.

If Bill O'Riley goes on air, admits his transgressions and apologizes should he keep his job? It worked for David Letterman.
