April 6, 20179 yr Author I can't find a link that confirms this. However, it would appear that Fox is under attack. I am wondering if a female boss touched my arm to quiet me in an interview if I would get traction in a sexual harassment lawsuit. After Ailes, the Pirate Flag Still Flies at Fox News - NYTimes.com You may. Who knows? 20 women accused Ailes and 5 have come forward on O'Reilly.
April 6, 20179 yr I can't answer for HC, but it is no different. It's just the way it is. Fair enough, thanks.
April 6, 20179 yr Who? What? Relevance? FWIW, if Trump hadn't have decided that he need to comment then his name wouldn't have entered the thread. I think it's a fair question. If he should be fired, should she have been allowed to run for president? Actually, I think what Hillary did was worse, at least as far as the country is concerned.
April 6, 20179 yr Author I think it's a fair question. If he should be fired, should she have been allowed to run for president? Actually, I think what Hillary did was worse, at least as far as the country is concerned. False comparison. Maybe you should have asked if Trump should have been able to run for President since also has been accused and admitted sexual harassment.
April 7, 20179 yr False comparison. Maybe you should have asked if Trump should have been able to run for President since also has been accused and admitted sexual harassment. Ummm, let me remind you of a White House intern, a cigar and a blue dress.
April 7, 20179 yr Author Ummm, let me remind you of a White House intern, a cigar and a blue dress. Better comparison there. And that action led him to being impeached.
April 7, 20179 yr Better comparison there. And that action led him to being impeached. But wasn't removed from office. If O'Reilly should have been fired, shouldn't Bill have been? We all know, as usual, partisan politics ended up ruling the day.
April 7, 20179 yr Better comparison there. And that action led him to being impeached. But he wasn't removed from office. He lied until he had lied himself into a corner and could lie no more and that's what he was impeached for, not the sex. His wife, supposedly a staunch women's rights person, attacked and discredited his accusers. If fact most of those who would probably lead the call for O'Riley's head probably still hold bot Bill and Hillary Clinton in high esteem. How's that comparison?

April 7, 20179 yr Author But wasn't removed from office. If O'Reilly should have been fired, shouldn't Bill have been? We all know, as usual, partisan politics ended up ruling the day. Sure they do. It's why you are running to O'Reilly's defense by throwing up Bill Clinton when he would fit right in the FOX Newsroom.
April 7, 20179 yr Sure they do. It's why you are running to O'Reilly's defense by throwing up Bill Clinton when he would fit right in the FOX Newsroom. Not an O'Reilly fan....at all. Don't watch him, don't care for him.
April 7, 20179 yr ^ For some reason, the old saw "two wrongs don't make a right" comes to mind. Which is why I guess you guys came to Clinton's defense, claimed his "sex life" didn't matter. But now.... Does this pretty much sum it up? In other words, you made my point. Thank you.
April 7, 20179 yr Author Which is why I guess you guys came to Clinton's defense, claimed his "sex life" didn't matter. But now.... Does this pretty much sum it up? In other words, you made my point. Thank you. Did we? Sexual misconduct has never got in the way of politicians, BUT do it in the workforce, and you're getting the axe in 2017. Besides, Run, the hypocrisy game is tired. The street runs both ways. Actually I was not calling for O'Reilly's firing. I said anybody else would be fired, and another sexual harassment claim would be hard to dispel. FOX watchers pay the bills and they don't care, so leave him there. Take it out of his salary like insurance.
April 7, 20179 yr ^ For some reason, the old saw "two wrongs don't make a right" comes to mind. For some reason after excusing Clinton's transgressions, hearing the left condemn O'Riley somehow rings hollow and a bit hypocritical.
