Featured Replies

BBF, you actually got drunk on one can of beer? Well, I guess you could say a can and a half to two cans.

If I haven't eaten, two Bud Light Platinums will absolutely have me buzzing.

No doubt, those suckers are powerful.

While it'll definitely take more than just one or two, next time I drink I'll be buzzed much sooner than I'm used to. Haven't drank in a month (with one exception) due to giving it up for Lent, so my tolerance level will need to be built back up. I'm game for the challenge. :lol2:

I'm sure I'll have a couple on Opening Day because baseball and beer...Can't do one without the other! :D

Wow, I guess I've built up a resistance in my time.

As I had expected, I'm no worse for the wear this morning as I had no more than that one tall can.

I'm amazed too at how little it takes me, but considering that alcohol is now relatively a foreign substance to my body, I guess that it would stand to reason.

Right now $1 will do the trick, but before long $1 will turn into $2 and then $3.

When I used to drink all the time 1 beer was just scratching the surface. it's best that I just keep it as a once in a blue moon treat 'cause other than saving my liver, in no time that $1 party will fast be over.

Went to the Final Four with a buddy after he gave up booze. We had a lot of fun that evening, Needless to say he spent all of the next day in bed.

BLP's are pretty potent, and I drink once a month or so, if that.

You must be drunk. Your posts in this thread are the shortest you have ever typed. LOL

Then I say we take up a collection and we all take turns sending him a 6-pack every week.

I drank Milwuakee's Best my first my semester of college. Haven't been able to bring myself back haha!

You were able to take two drinks of Milwaukee's Best? Hardcore

As a 21 year old undergrad student this thread makes me laugh and not look forward to the day where it takes me one beer to get a buzz.

May I recommend 3 Bud Ice tall boys...3 for $3.

If you're living life right, you'll never get there with one beer lol. Well unless maybe it's bomber of something that's a very high ABV.

It was just a buck.

LOL, it needs to only be a buck. I haven't had that since college when it was 5.99 a case.
