I just wish someone would tell me exactly WHAT anyone on Trump's team did to collude with Putin on the election. All we ever hear is that the Russians tried to influence the election. Nobody says how. Heck, the Russians have tried to influence many elections...guess what, the US HAS TOO! Obama spent US tax money to try to help Netanyahu's opponent in the last Israeli election...

 

I just think this is the biggest non-story ever concocted to try to delegitimize a president. Now if something comes up proving me wrong I will admit it. But I think the Dems goal here is to keep an investigation going forever just for political purposes.

The investigation is whether or not they had Trump doing their dirty work for them and what exactly they did and if it was legal. I don't see how that is confusing to people. We have no clue what they did other than helping to spread the influx of fake news to the masses. That is legal. Now if investigations show that Trump was onboard with Russia to help spread fake news like they did is that something we should all be comfortable and okay with? Let us know the ground rules now. This election was the worst. It brought out the worst in politics and the American people. If these are the rules going forward everyone deserves to know. And if we decide this is clean or dirty then that needs to be known too. That way no one can complain when "their guy" wins.

 

To ignore all of the funny business that went down by both parties to win the White House isn't a good look at all. Something funky is going down. We just need to know if it was legal and regardless of what people think and hear right now not a single one of us has a real clue either way.

Is it about Russia? I thought Nunes' claim to fame was having the bombshell evidence about Obama tapping Trump's phones that we are still waiting to see.

 

The issue at hand is whether or not the White House gave Nunes his marching orders with their intel isn't it? Evidence that is still lacking in substance but that is a whole other story.

 

Russia is about Flynn and Trump and as always is still developing. Nunes doesn't have anything to do with Russia does he?

Different agencies have said that the Russians have tried to influence the election but nobody has said they succeeded in changing any votes or exactly what they did...at least to my knowledge. I could have thrown many many Ds under the bus about the Clinton stuff and not one of you guys called for anything other than to vote for her. Because what her and Bill did to the black community for their own personal profit bothers me a whole lot more than some damn emails. Especially when what she did is proving more and more to be a common practice amongst everyone in Washington. Why folks are wanting her criminally charged for some emails and her server when she and Bill have both gone on record apologizing for their participation in the prison for profit rush of the 1990s totally baffles me and I'll never understand why those actions alone don't garner more outrage from everyone. I just don't get it.

The Russia investigation is politics 101. Everyone on both sides, including most in this thread know Russia did not have a direct impact on any vote.

 

What we are debating is how propaganda influenced the election. Which is a first in this democracy ran on propaganda.
