Only thing I will predict is that Cooper will show up, put 5 on the floor and do what they do....play hard and leave every ounce of energy they have on the court. They've been out-manned several times this year and "Found A Way". Good luck Jags!!

Fern Creek wins this one and meets Bowling Green in the finals. Bluegrass Preps top two teams all year will settle it on the floor on Sunday.

Cooper can win this one. They have 2 legit scorers plus other kids that can get a bucket AND they play hard, physical defense. Add in 5 that can spread it out and put it on the floor....they can win.

Something interesting. In Coopers last 6 games (which includes districts and regionals and sweet 16) they have not allowed their opponents to score over 41 points and 5 of those under 39

I will predict one thing that will defiantly occur. Tears will be shed and dreams will be fulfilled for some young men who will remember this for the rest of their lives.

Zone beats creek

 

Cooper's defense is on a different level.

 

FC would be perfectly happy playing against a zone, Price, Wales, Moore and Rogers can all shoot the ball and Wales will get to the gaps fairly easily. And, if they dictate the speed of the game, they will get a ton of finishes at the rim against a retreating zone.

 

Cooper might be playing good "D" but, no way can it be more suffocating or in your face then what they faced in the Ballard game last night. Again, they have 5 players that can all handle the ball and can see over the top.

 

It should be a great game, Cooper HAS TO control the tempo to win, I don't think they can, so I am going to take Fern Creek for the win. If I have to guess at a score........double digits IMO.

Love it, love it, love it! Double digit loss, can't control tempo, can't handle pressure, can't this, can't that. Been hearing those comments all year so keep doubting the Cooper Jags! They will show up at 8pm strapped up and ready for a battle so sleep on them if you want to and you just might be surprised.

It will be a close game but FC will score more than 41. None of those 6 teams mentioned are even close to being in the same league as Fern Creek (except CovCath).

Look for Cooper to draw as many offensive fouls as Ballard did against Fern Creek.

 

If this turns into a jump shooting contest Fern Creek has no chance.

Cooper D is more suffocating in the half court. I don't see them pressing full court. Fern Creek will have to earn each basket.
