September 22, 200620 yr Is Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech. the best WR in college football? If he is not he must be considered right at the top IMO. This guy is a game changer. I would hate Saturday afternoon if I were a cornerback playing against GT. Johnson is 6' 5" 235 lbs. 4.4 speed in the forty and has a 45" veritcal jump. In 24 games he has 102 receptions for 1,725yds & 13 TD. for an average of 16.9 ypc. If I am a pro football team owner I have Johnson's cell # on speed dial. Excellent receiver with a bright future.
September 22, 200620 yr I haven't seen that guy play, but he sounds like a beast. My personal favorites are "Super" Mario Urrutia, and Keenan Burton.
September 22, 200620 yr There is no doubt in my mind that he is the best WR in college football. He is a complete player..problebly the best hands in football, great speed, and a big frame. Not that it would ever happen, but could Bengals fans imagine having Johnson/Johnson/TJ......:scared:

Johnson is unreal, the only problem is Georgia Tech doesn't throw to him enough. He is the best on a list that would include sophmore Sydney Rice (South Carolina) and Jr. Dewayne Jarrett (USC) as well.
September 22, 200620 yr Calvin is the best, bar none I'll take Dwayne Jarrett and roll the dice. :thumb:

I agree on your selections as both are great !! Johnson has some super skills but at times can show a little attitude of Moss,TO, and K.Johnson all into one but that may not be such a bad thing.

September 22, 200620 yr Author I have to give my Buckeyes props also. Ginn and Gonzalez are also two pretty good WR.
September 22, 200620 yr Meacham from Tennessee is the best among the ones not already mentioned. Ted Ginn Jr. from OSU, Robert Johnson from Texas Tech, and Desean Jackson from Cal also have to be mentioned.

Johnson has some super skills but at times can show a little attitude of Moss,TO, and K.Johnson all into one but that may not be such a bad thing. Last night they were praising this kid about how humble he is. I've seen him play a few times, and I didn't see any attitude similar to Moss, TO, and Keshawn.
September 22, 200620 yr I have to give my Buckeyes props also. Ginn and Gonzalez are also two pretty good WR. I would definately put those two in the mix but the guy at Ga. Tech imo is the best. All that have been mentioned so far are very good.
September 22, 200620 yr If Calvin Johnson was on USC he'd be the front runner for the Heisman IMO You make a good point with that statement.
