Ginn Been saying Manningham top 5 for a few weeks now, and definitely after the Notre Dame game and solidifies as top 5 on my list after this weekend. 5 TD receptions against 2 ranked teams. He is an absolute threat. 1. Theodor Ginn Jr. - great speed and can shake a defender all day. 2. Calvin Johnson - 6'5" with a 45" vertical and a 4.35 40 time. The kid is a freak. Oh yeah, and he can catch a few passes now and then. 3. Mario Manningham - Very fast and can catch the fade route and corner endzone route all game long. Very underrated in my book. 4. Dwayne Jarrett - USC product, and very fast. He'll run right by you. 5a. Jeff Samarjiza - Yet to have a real breakout game, but very tall, great hands, and can run for yards after a catch. For being so tall, he is surprisingly good at making the first defender miss. 5b. Anthony Gonzalez - IMO, one of the most solid receivers in college football. Very reliable with good hands, somewhat of a sleeper I guess. He kept them in the game against Texas in the first half.

September 27, 200619 yr 1. Johnson 2. Ginn 3. Jarrett I think Calvin Johnson and Ted Ginn are at the same level. Ted Ginn is more exciting when he touches the ball but Calvin Johnson is your bigger pro prospect.

He kept them in the game against Texas in the first half. I agree he is a solid receiver, but the fact that Ted Ginn is on the field, makes him seem better than what he is. Great hands..no doubt about it, but without Ginn, he doesnt get open as much as he does IMO.
