I have, and they are very good MeatMan, but they have some holes to fix if they think they can beat Danville or Mayfield.

Beechwood vs. the winner of Lynn Camp and Harlan is this a joke. Somerset should run the table again and if play like there capable beat beechwood. Then we will get that rematch with those Ads.

IMO this isn't any more funny than Somerset vs Danville coming out any differently than the reg. season game.

First off I'm a Somerset fan, I played there and my son will in a couple of years. However, I really hope you aren't a player and are thinking that. Somerset's tackling has been awful and while I think they've got a shot to make some noise they've got to grow up a lot in a little time and learn to tackle before they can think about beating Harlan, Lynn Camp, or Williamsburg. Let alone making any kind of a run.

Danville - Beechwood

 

Same ol' great teams, year after year!

AJG you got it right!!! Jumpers too soft yet to make a deep run. Danville is the team to beat- even with the Ads faithful playing them down this year.

The Usual Suspects this year, Mayfield, Danville NCC or Beechwood. Pikeville and B-town just behind that group.

If my understanding is correct, after the regionals are decided, the semi's will be seeded...If thats the case, I feel the Bardstown/Danville winner from region 2 will be the #1 seed..I think Mayfield will come out of Rgn 1 as the #2 seed, the Beechwood/NCC winner will be the # 3 seed and the Rgn 4 winner, which I'm predicting Somerset, as the #4 seed.Then it would shape up like this:

 

Beechwood/NCC at Mayfield

Somerset at Danville/Bardtown

 

Looking at it this way, I see Mayfield vs Danville/Bardstown in the finals and of the 3 right now, I'd go with Bardstown to win it all...

 

You are partially correct....the first two rounds will be of course teams from the same district playing each other. For the third round there was a blind "draw" to determine the third round games...but nothing has changed with the draws as the same District winners would play in the third round. The substate games will remain the same with the same regional winners playing each other...so basically other than the first two district playoff games the playoff format for class 1A is basically the same.

"5) For the semi-state round (fourth round), the champion of region 1 will play the champion of Region 2 while the champion of Region 3 will

play the champion of Region 4. The team representing the even-numbered Region shall host the games in even-numbered years, while the

team representing the odd-numbered Region shall host the game in odd-numbered years.

Holy Cross and Danville in the Finals. HC will surprise people and they have a nice mix of run / pass with SR laden team. I like Danville to win it all though.
