Congrats to FC, they hung around and seemed to be very poised. SK with another sub-pat game at the stripe when it counts.

The refs put Niece in foul trouble in the first half that slowed SK some. Also FC playing stall ball the last 4 minutes hurt SK. Time for highschool ball to have a shot clock.

Niece looked pretty dominant tonight, but her foul troubles played a big role in this game. Her missed time and being a little less aggressive on defense was probably the difference. First time seeing a girls state tourney game and this one was well worth it.

Good game and nice crowd. SK as was posted, had far too many TO's to win vs. a very good team.

Probably one of the most exciting games seen it was back in fourth all game. FC took controll Niece and Harney would get them right back in it. If Niece made the last second shot that place would have went nuts. Pioneers had a great season. The Seniors did a great job. Awesome season Pioneers.

Sorry SK fans, but I need to point something out here. I really liked the chances of this team and was rooting for them to make a run. I would have loved to see the two NKY teams match up in the semis. I feel for the girls today and wish the seniors luck. SK will return strong again next year and be right back in the middle of things. So again, I apologize for the message below and it isn't meant any disrespect to the team. Just need to teach my lil buddy a little lesson.

 

Footballforever74....let's take a stroll down memory lane. Remember when Highlands loss to Doss in the football playoffs? Oh, I'm sure you do. Do you remember when you made comments like "Highlands lost, mic drop" and "wonder what HHS will be doing next Friday" and "Heard there were some unhappy people in Ft. Thomas!". We reminded you these were kids and there were 30 seniors that had just played their last game that night. Do you think those comments would be appropriate today if I spun them around? Well I'm not going to do it but I did tell you at the time that I would remind you how classless those posts were. How do you think the girls from SK would feel if the HHS fans came on here and blasted them last night or right now? So take note and remember that things can always come back to bite you in the butt.

Are you implying the refs called bogus fouls on her? Just wondering as I was not at the game.

I'm envious of her ball handling skills. She is a very talented player.
