March 8, 20179 yr As diehard a UK fan that I am, I would be cheering for the Norse to pull the upset. I think I'd rather see them take on someone else, but it would almost be a win/win. If UK wins, great and glad they advance. If NKU wins, unreal and if UK is gonna lose to anyone, might as well be for the betterment of NKU's program. Either way, I don't see UK losing that one. Best case scenario? NKU plays Louisville and shocks the world lol.
March 8, 20179 yr I will be extremely unpleased if they do. No school should have to do a "play-in" game in their first ever tournament. Part of me would be, but if it were in Dayton, I'd almost certainly make the trip. I hope they get a 14 seed, but 15 is most likely. As long as it isn't against Kentucky, I'll be thrilled.

March 8, 20179 yr NKU isn't doing a play in game with 24 wins. Milwaukee would have been in Dayton but not NKU. I would say they are a 15 seed

I got chills watching the final seconds. This was the feeling and the type of moment that we got season tickets for. I know it's a little corny, but the program really was a sleeping giant with a huge alumni and fan base in the area. Knew it was just a matter of time until Coach Brannen woke that giant. Just didn't expect it to be this soon! If there was anyone in the league that didn't take the newbies seriously before, that all changed last night.

I would have regretted it forever! Just to see the emotion pouring out of the Brannen family as time expired. This was the culmination of something that's been 40 years in the making. Awesome family.
