March 3, 20179 yr Author Weather Channel shows low 60's for the 11th and low 50's for the 12th... :idunno: What people need to understand is that the GFS model picture I posted was just a snapshot in time. It was not to be taken as an prediction. That's why I posted in my first post that nothing is definite. When the model information is released it is showing what the computations were showing at that moment. Sequential models are no longer showing the snow. Like the 06z GFS model just released this morning is now showing the possibility of strong to severe storms.
March 3, 20179 yr I appreciate you posting this information. I'm kind of a weather geek, but find these long range (10-14 day) forecasts a real crap shoot. Heck, they often mess up the forecasts 1-2 days out. That said, how often are these long range forecasts accurate? 20%? Higher? Thx!
March 3, 20179 yr nWo, what do you see for the afternoon. I had planned on driving to Richmond and being there around 2 to buy a mattress and haul it in my pickup, which is open. The hours should be between 2:30-5 to get there and get back home.
