Gerald played collegiately at Austin Peay and then multiple years for the Harlem Globetrotters. He is a very good official, and his son is an outstanding player at PRP.

 

Iroquois was 6th region runner-up three years in a row when he played there 80,81,82 I believe

Correct. His daughter, Alex, played at E'town and later EKU.

Bob Burkhart (sp), played freshman ball at UK, when they used to have freshman teams, was a stand out guard at Holmes.

I feel pretty confident that he was in the 14th Region. He played college basketball at Alice Lloyd College in the mid-90s.

Charlie Linton, 6th/7th was a star for PRP in the 70s.

Pouncey was a good player at Holmes. Now a very good ref. Does a lot of college games but I think he still does 9th region high school too.

Kurt Jones was a nice HS player at Bellevue in the 9th and he calls a good game.

Haha...I was thinking the exact same thing.

Jeff played in Michigan, and when his Dad retired they moved back home to Knott County. That is when he enrolled at Alice Lloyd College and played for four years. I think he help Alice Lloyd win a Championship while he was there.
