I agree with all of the guys mentioned. Lex Cath also has several:

1. Ben Revere (in every aspect of the game)

2. Wes Caldwell (most T.D.'s in the state last year receiving plus does it in the big games)

3. Shane Isreal (Small like Kramer but strong too) he only needs a little crack of daylight and it's see you later. He runs hard for a small guy too ala the state championship last year.

4. Winston Guy is quite possibly the very most underrated athlete in the state along with Jeter from Henry Clay. Those two just make so many plays but others on their team get more pub.

Deaton and Cole from Somerset. Cole is extremely fast and has great moves and Deaton has a very strong and accurate arm. These two can put up points in a hurry.

Blake Johnson and Shawn Grim from JCHS can take over at any time...They are warriors..

 

Daniel Pugh from PHS can dominate and take over anytime as well

Doug Beaumont is so versatile, he can take over a game on any play, no matter who has the ball. He makes big plays on offense (RB, WR), defense (safety), and special teams.

Gotta give Leonard Macon some love. 6'5" 210 lbs WR for the Danville Admirals. This kid is a sophomore and already has been offered by UK. I've seen him play once but that was enough to know that he is the real deal.

What's Nate's number?

 

# 76 he was in intensive care against the birds last year. I believe him to be one of the best o-lineman in the state at 6'3 270.

ammons is a great kid with tons of talent and seems the learn from every single mistake. vic anderson of course is at the top of everyones list. but as the most underrated... chris maggard.

 

I agree 110%. There are players who are bigger, stronger and faster, but Maggard has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen in a HS football player. He never comes off the field, ever. He is the North Laurel leader on and off the field and he makes everyone around him better by forcing them to try and play as hard as he does on every play. He never takes a play off and is leading his team to exceed expectations. The most recent game versus South Laurel, he rushed for over 100 yards (for the 4th straight week), scored 3 rushing TD's, scored a 2 pt conversion, kicks the PAT's, intercepted a pass, was one of his team's leading tacklers as well as being the punter and pinning the Cardinals inside the 1 yard line on a beautiful 48 yard punt. He also returns kicks and punts as well. For a 5'7" 165 lb kid who some seem to think was too small and slow, he sure manages to get the job done. Very underrated, but the Jags players and coaches would probably tell you that he is invaluable to their team! In short, my kind of player! :thumb:

Mine is....... 6'1 200 pound Kasey Clark of Russell. You have to Credit the blocking game. Not even the best of the runners would make it out of the back field without good blocking.

With minutes left in the game with Bell County, Minnefield took over. HC put him in the shotgun formation as quarterback and he ran!! Brought HC back from defeat (Bell led whole game until 4:40 left in fourth quarter) and scored two quick tds to put game away.
