Definitely a good win for the Juggs, but I don't think they are playing with or beating either CCH or Cooper on that big BB&T Arena floor

No doubt the general consensus all season long has been CovCath Cooper Cooper CovCath...and certainly with good reason, yet to keep me from growing bored with that all too neatly packaged assessment, I like to think that with the stars lining up proper, still anything can happen. Makes for a nice twist in the story line when Cinderella shows up to the dance and steals the glass slipper from those who thought that they were entitled to it.

I don't think Cooper or Cov Cath think they are entitled to anything. They have been the best two teams in the region all year and are the favorites. During the region you only have to be the best team that night to pull off an upset. I'm sure Cooper or Cov Cath aren't expecting to be given anything.

I get your Cinderella analogy, but don't think either team feels entitled.

I'd bet that CovCath & Cooper have it in their heads that it's only them. I like picturing in my head some other team breezing past the two of them and running away with it leaving them stunned. Not likely, but still fun to imagine. Even more fun when stuff like this happens.

It seemed like once Lloyd extended the lead, Dixie just didn't have the offensive approach to come back and also Dixie could not get a stop defensively.

I hear you B-Ball-Fan. I also love a great underdog story. Being a Cooper fan I'm just hoping that they do not take any team lightly so they won't let any Cinderella story dreams come true.......Lol!!!!!

You obviously don't know Cooper very well or Coach Sully. I won't speak for CCH, but the Jags look past no one, period. Cooper was in a similar position 2 years ago and while very young then they were a favorite and got upset by St.Henry. If the team wasn't devasted by injuries last year they may have made a run as well but they clearly know what's at stake and are working hard, like all teams.

I know several of these players very very well and they will be focused on whoever they draw at 10am tomorrow morning. Cooper, and I'm sure like Lloyd, is hungry. I know that Cooper is because they have never made it past the Regional Semis so I can assure you they will not be caught sleeping looking past anyone.

Awesome for the Juggernauts! Does anyone know how many schools (college and highschool) in the US can claim this mascot???

It would make for a nice story line if someone else wins the region.

I think you are way off base if you think either CCH or Cooper feel the least bit entitled.

Upsets happen, but I highly, highly doubt any team will "breeze" past either Cooper or CCH, let alone "breeze past the two of them."

Tim Sullivan won't let that happen.

One too many for this broadcaster who struggles mightily to get the relatively simple pronunciation of the word correct during a ballgame, and always have.

I drive the white haired lady at the Lloyd scorers table nuts. :)
