Simon Kenton at Dixie Predictions

Featured Replies

This is seemingly a weekly plea.

Plea? I thought it was a statement. Our boys feel worse about there start than we as Dixie fans do I'm sure. I think that is positive reinforcement that Red is trying to use. He is spurring his team on to do better. To step up. To reach there potential. I don't see that as a plea. We're OK despite the early showing. All we have to do is win. We are 1-0 in the district and that is what counts. These kids have high expectations. It comes from being apart of a good football program and tradition. They have never seen a Dixie team that didn't rise to the occasion and thus expect more out of themselves. A win tonight will put us on track for the first of our team goals. Go get it boyz!

No harm intended. It simply seemed like a plea hoping that the boys get to the point of being near their expected level of play.

Bustle hasn't exactly impressed me this year, he needs to step his game up if he hopes to be the D1 prospect you speak of.

Dixie 21-Simon 14 :thumb:

What D-1 schools are looking at Bustle?

Illinois is one i have heard

Illinois must be all over Kenton County Schools, because they are also interested in Ryan Kelly of Scott. Good luck to both. (And smart recruiting by the Illini :thumb: )

The predicted rainy, windy weather gives the SK running game a big advantage IMO.

I'm taking Dixie in a low scoring game, 13-7. Even thought there offense does not impress me, they fly to ball on defense and that should be the difference.

The predicted rainy, windy weather .

Isn't it comforting to know that despite the rain , the field will be in tip-top shape? No more mud on 2/3 of the field. That will be very nice for both sides.

Your leaving out that he was prospering at Dixie and that they have kids who attend SK already and that they wanted the family to go to school together. His father leaving was the catalyst. Tommy is a great kid and I wish him well. I wish he was still on our team. No matter how deep we are, I still miss him in Red and Grey. Good luck Tom. No pressure here, we know how good you are already.

Tommy had no choice but to go to Sk. Please don't talk on the situation if you don't have any idea what you are talking about. Tommy's dad didn't go anwhere.. Thanks, end of discussion. Goodluck Tonight

Didn't he get called into duty? That's what SM32 is referring too.

No.

Then could you explain the situation to expel the apparent rumor that is going around about the situation? Everyone (well, almost everyone) on here has the understanding that his dad was called into duty, therefore, he had to go live with relatives.

No. Its not a matter that his family would like all of America to know. All i can say it's a personal matter.
