I expect a game that goes down to the wire like last year's contest. Very important game for both teams. If SK loses, they have an uphill battle for a playoff spot. Dixie can rebound from a loss but it will be tough for them, too. Remember, Dixie has to play at Boone, Campbell and Ryle so the Red Colonels must hold serve at home IMO in this rivalry game.

I believe it's suppose to be designated for alumni (at least that's what I've heard). Therefore, SM32 is not allowed up there because he is the wrong color colonel.

I agree with the need for SK's offensive improvement. I listened to the second half of the game last week and it seemed like Elbert was feeling pressure on just about every down. That was also what I saw in the Holy Cross game, and that is a pattern that needs to change for the offense to be more successful. I'm not sure it has reached a point where this is a must win for either team, but an SK loss would likely mean that they will have to win four of their last five games to have a good shot at the playoffs. Assuming no letdowns by either team, it will be a close game.

 

On a separate note, I watched a middle school game at the new Dixie field on Saturday. I liked the facility and enjoyed the experience. I'm curious about one thing...at the end of the home stands there is a walkway that leads up a slight incline to what appears to be a patio area just to the right of the concession building. Does anyone know what this area will be used for? Is this the designated tailgating area for SM32?

I think they will. SK wins this one avenging the tough loss last year and erasing that bitter taste left in their mouth's from the BC game.

Actually, the Colonels are alot deeper at the skills. But as wierd as it sounds, the QB may be the decider in this one. Bricking has been inconsistent and Elbert it seems looses focus thus far when under pressure. We'll have to see which one rises to the occasion. That will be your winner.

He and Michael are great RB's. I like watching them. SK is a good team, and will do well this year regardless of this game. It's a seven game district, they will get plenty of wins before the year is out regardless of this games outcome.

I'm not sure how deep SK is on the line , but Dixie has been running 10 to 12 in and out . This could be a big factor if the game stay's close ! Has SK been on turf this year ?

Ha that's no joke. Bustle is a whole bunch of man. My favorite part about him is after he makes a good play he goes absoltley nuts. He flails his arms and its fun to see how intense he is. Personally i wouldn't pick a fight with him.
