That was awful on so many levels….., not the least of which I kept hearing the crowd chanting “Tar Heels” backwards in my head as….. Heeeels Tarrrr.

 

Just get the heck out of NC and forge onward.

I love those old-school black unis with the block letters. Unfortunately the Cards never seem to win when they bust those beauties out.

 

I can't help but feel like if they could have gotten the lead back after it was 40-40 it might have ended better. Or, you know, hit a few more FTs. Because 4-for-13 are HS numbers.

The free throw situation is unacceptable. They have been atrocious as of late.

That was embarrassing last night. The worst part is that Louisville was getting everything they could've hoped for in the paint and actually outshot UNC from the floor.

 

That old nemesis, ice-cold perimeter shooting, doomed this team again. And yeah, free throw shooting was definitely embarrassing.

 

Deng Adel had some nice moments scoring but heaven above that dude has AWFUL handles and makes some really bone-headed decisions.

Too often (given the results). They need somebody without a thumb, a guy from Scooba, MS and 1 of the McCray brothers out there!

1st half was tolerable but they didn't maximize the advantages they had. 2nd half was more UNC-like and Cards couldn't match a couple of nice runs from UNC.

 

At one point, I heard myself say "run the isolation for Mahmoud." It was a jarring reality.

 

Make sure to bounce back against Cuse and secure the double bye in the ACC tourney.

Can't beat anybody shooting 4-13 on free-throws and most of those were 1and1. Counted 4 air balls last night on wide open shots. Oh well there goes the 1 seed unless we win out and the win the ACC tournament.
