February 20, 20179 yr Author TJones is already there. He doesn't count. I'm talking Wall, Bledsoe, Booker caliber. Boogie is hnder contract through the 2018 season. Wall is under contract through the 2019 season. Booker is under contract through the 2018 season, team option through 2019. Bledsoe is under contract through 2019. Jrue Holiday is a free agent after this season. Stay tuned.

Brandon Knight doesn't deserve a starting position in the NBA. Tyler Ulis will pass up Knight eventually. Bledsoe should be their focus if they can't re-sign Jrue.

Tim Frazier and Jrue Holiday are their PGs. Boogie sees an instant upgrade at the PG position. Holiday is better than Darren Collison and Ty Lawson. Frazier has proven to be a capable backup. E'twaun Moore is likely their starting shooting guard and with Boogie and AD the SG position doesn't matter anymore. Between Boogie, AD and Holiday the rest are role players.

February 20, 20179 yr Couldn't the Pelicans go big if they wanted to and have Jones, Davis and Cousins on the floor at the same time? On defense Davis is so athletic he could possibly guard the 3 spot when they are on the floor together.
February 20, 20179 yr Author Ric Bucher is reporting that Sacramento didn't want Brandon Knight and that is why he didn't go to the Suns. He also said Orlando balked at landing Cousins. The Lakers refused to give up Brandon Ingram and that is why they didn't get Cousins. The Celtics are trying hard for Jimmy Butler and that is why they didn't get Cousins.

He knows his role and now that they have Cousins he is expendable. The Pelicans have Solomon Hill, Dante Cunningham and Donatas Montiejunas that all play the 3-4 position so I can understand why they are seeing what they can get for Jones.
February 20, 20179 yr Sac apparently did it to keep their first round pick. So Sac is likely to have 2 top 10 picks this year bow. Their pick was top 10 protected to the Bulls. But this just does not feel like enough.
