February 10, 20179 yr I like that it is being tested. As should some other ideas. I'd rather they test out these things instead of adopting them straight out.
February 10, 20179 yr Why do they need to test this? I am sure they have stats that show the scoring % when a guy is on 2nd and nobody is out. I can tell you what will happen...teams will score more often than starting the inning with nobody on base...:lol2: Not a chance that this ever happens in a MLB game...

You have to see how managers will play this, just so you know if you need to put any rules in place to curb things, or help things.
February 11, 20179 yr Flashback to the year 19-whatever........Why they testing out this Designated Hitter thing? You will never see it in the Major Leagues.
February 13, 20179 yr Is the intention of this rule to save arms? I could see it being implemented after a certain inning for that very reason. For instance go with the existing system through 11 or 12 innings and then go with this.

I like that idea. Honestly no one wants to see a 19 inning baseball game. Come the 12th or 13th this could start.

I love them just because of the sheer weirdness involved, as well as the intense strategy involved. Oh, did I mention the sheer weirdness of them? Yeah, I'm all about it.
