Super Bowl 51 & Politics

Featured Replies

[i'm putting this in the NFL forum hoping to divert political comments from the Results thread (I am already an offender over there)]

Breaking stories tomorrow:

1. Liberals will claim since Brady is friends with President Trump that the Russians hacked the super bowl.

2. CNN will say Atlanta had more fans at the stadium so they should have won, and you're a racist.

Haven't seen a lead blown this badly since Hillary's 2016 campaign.

Commercials sure made sure gay, women rights, and immigrants were covered.

Honestly the commercials for the most part were far less political than I thought they would be. They still sucked but at least they weren't ladened with outward political stuff the whole time.

Commercials were probably better back when people didn't get offended by everything.

Word was floating around that Lady Gaga was supposed to take a jab at Trump during her halftime performance. If she did, I must have missed it.

If what I saw on Twitter is to be believed, InfoWars said that she would be conducting a satanic ritual. Maybe our Alex Jones-ophiles can verify or refute that claim.

I love reading info wars, but I also dont believe everything they say either.

This is one of them.

Amen to that. Most of the time people are offended for other people.

I was honestly worried that the Superbowl would be more political. It was not bad at all in that respect.

I am interested to see how many players boycott going to the White House.

Martellus Bennett had already said last week that he would not visit the White House.
