In the pregame prediction thread, I suggested if the Bears could defend the 3, there would be lots of opps for BC's bigs to rebound. Pendleton missed 17 three point attempts and Bracken had an awesome 48 to 28 rebound advantage. That is a recipe for victory against Wildcats that was executed perfectly.

 

Besides the solid stats line above, it should be noted Crawford produced 22 points from floor on only 15 attempts (that is a fantastic 1.47 FG scoring efficiency); while I think Jones produced 18 points from floor on only 13 shots (also, a stellar 1.38 FG scoring efficiency). When volume scorers are this efficient, teammates stay in the game and victories follow. That is a recipe for a post-season march.

This stat shocked me. Dontaie had over half of his teams rebounds and most of them came of 2-3 putback attempts.

This was the most fun game I've been a part of since last years District and it definitely felt like and old 38th District Championship between the Polar Bears and Wildcats. The rivalry is back!

I don't know about a nightmare but I was definitely the biggest crowd this season. 1300 is a fair assessment I was going to say close to 1500.

Pendleton County's quarter by quarter scoring is what stuck out me. Bracken County seems to always get outscored in the 3rd quarter.
