Couch graduated in 96

They weren't alive yet.

Don't worry...they're returning Casey McGinness, Kam Butler, Malachi Pike, Jack Coldiron to help on offense.

 

As was mentioned elsewhere, they need to work on rebuilding last year's senior-heavy offensive line. They had a solid JV season last year, though, so I would assume they're working in the weight room to get some size added to some of those sophomores and juniors to get them ready for fall.

 

CCH was impressive last year from where I was sitting. If they're the same or better than last year, watch out.

I think CCH takes the games in 17. HHS is still a year out from being close to what they were.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if HHS pulled off the win but I don't think I would expect it in 17. IMO, still a couple of major questions for the birds this year. QB and line. They can still answer both of those questions but I think they maybe another year out. I think Huddy starting varsity at S and possibly Delagrange at DB would help sure up a secondary that has been really bad as of late.

There is tough jr qb who should be right there in the mix. An he has all the tools to be the next big thing up there. Everybody writing Highlands off is funny. I mean covcath has beat them once in how many yrs? Now covcath has to replace a stud oline an there just going to dominate Highlands? Who prior to this past game did more than just dominate covcath! Better not count those chickens before they hatch!

I think they have a few QB's up there. I'm not familiar with the JR but I heard he's not a bad option. I honestly think the best one might be an 8th grader coming up to 9th grade but they also have options in Cramer(soph), and Hollinsworth(frosh). I think this summer should help them in who really wants it.

Yes they have some talented QB to chose from a couple good receivers and some good RB the line on both sides of the ball is always tough to see hopefully some younger members can help out and I think they all have a new attitude too should be a good close game that can fall either way

There are a couple Birds coming back out I'm hearing. Both current sophs who were starters as Frosh. Not sure why they took their Soph yr off but both can be impact players.

I heard the same thing. If the rumors are correct, one of them will be the best athlete on the field.
