It is truly amazing the amount of insane things being done by this administration in such a short amount of time. Even more amazing is the spin by their supporters.

You and Jesse and his posse would be incensed if I detailed it out. Suffice it to say, I believe very strongly that what is in the best interest of the US as a whole is not what is being planned.

 

I've felt the same way before...but I realized that I was shortsighted. Just because I disagreed with someone doesn't mean they were out to destroy the country, I think they truly believed what they were doing was right...even if I didn't at may times.

This change to the NSC is a concern. Trump is a complete novice in foreign affairs. He removes knowledgeable, experienced advisors and brings in a campaign advisor whose experience is as a Goldman Sachs employee, movie producer and running a media website. This is a concern.

Obama is and will continue to be fair game when liberals attempt to apply a double standard to Trump's administration.

 

There were Obama cabinet members who were on the job for months before they even met Obama. I would be surprised if he left office without meeting or talking to some of them after they were confirmed.

 

I believe that the POTUS should be spending more time with the cabinet-level members of his administration than with his putter. Whether he meets with them one on one, all at once, or in any combination, I really do not care. In my experience, committees work best when their size is limited to no more than six or seven members. Other employees can always be invited to a meeting on an as-needed basis. If Trump prefers to meet with groups larger than seven, then I am sure that he has more experience running meetings than I do.

Oh well. If Obama sucked so bad, I just don't get the fascination with comparing Trump to him. That isn't the standard to beat, is it? The Obama standard?

 

This move by Trump should concern everyone. We have a complete novice in foreign policy as President. He needs all the experienced knowledgable advisors he can get in the room with him - and Goldman Sachs employee/movie producer/media maven Bannon is not a foreign policy expert.

 

I can't help but be amazed at the irony. Trump's favorite targets in the campaign - big banks (and especially Goldman Sachs) and the media. His top advisor is a former Goldman Sachs employee and a media person. And that person replaces foreign policy experts.
