My life is great actually. I am in no hurry to check out, but the rest of humanity kinda needs to go.

 

I just have seen nothing in the grand scheme of humanity in the last decade to make me think that our species deserves to continue. The last 2 years have really altered my perspective. The rise of the anti-intellectualism, the rise of populism, the polarization of politics, the return to the nationalist sentiments of a pre- WWI world, and the ease with which people can find "alternative facts " disgusts me.

 

Time to wipe the slate clean and let the planet start over.

I contend the the intellectuals are going to be the demise of the world, or at least the liberal intellectuals by the distortion of our youths minds with the liberal garbage they spew.
