Now Soccer , I wish we could outlaw it , totally hate it . Icing - This happens when a player on team A shoots the puck from a point on his side of the red line (center ice) and it crosses the center line and the team B's goal line without the puck being touched. The penalty for this is that the puck will be brought back to team A's end of the ice for a face-off. Also, team A cannot substitute after an icing call. However, during a power play by team B, team A can ice the puck without penalty. Offsides - The puck must cross the blue line into team A's end of the ice before any player on team B does. If any part of any player on team B is across that line before the puck cross it, that player is offsides. If the puck crosses back across the blue line, all team B players in team A's end of the ice, must also cross back across the team A's blue line before the puck can reenter team A's end of the ice again. January 24, 20179 yr I love rugby--but not for those reasons. It's the best sport I've ever played.I played it for one month at UofL. I didn't get it to be honest. Hard to get the football methodology to change in my feeble brain.
January 25, 20179 yr I played it for one month at UofL. I didn't get it to be honest. Hard to get the football methodology to change in my feeble brain. But once you do, it is very enjoyable. It requires many skills as well as toughness and stamina. With 15 players a side, it is a great team sport, too. I'd recommend it to anybody.
January 25, 20179 yr I don't understand why there is "Scoring" in Ski Jumping...it should be who ever jumps the furthest and lands upright, wins!
