Working out 2017

Intermittent fasting, has anyone tried this or currently trying it? What is your schedule like if so? Often time I'll workout in the morning and not eat till 10-11 AM so I think I could easily do this. Just need to work on not eating past 8PM the night before.

Yes. I try 11 to 7 with a huge dinner. Go to Lean Gains. He is the Godfather of it. He also has a workout that takes about 45 minutes 3xs week, but you have to search in the blog for it. Disclaimer, he seems to be a weird dude.

Nice :thumb:

I have Ironman Wisconsin in 18 days. Had my long day last Saturday. 1/2 mile open water swim, 75 mile bike, and 12 mile run/walk. Ready as I am going to be.

Down ~30+ pounds in the last 4.5 months! A lot of stair master and clean eating.

Hit the gym today for the 3rd straight day. I don't think I've been in the gym 3 times in a month since May.

Mr. Cat and I have been doing cross fit 3 days a week religiously since July. Absolutely love it! My gym moved to a new location in Alexandria and they are having a grand opening later this month. If anyone is interested in checking it out, hit me up!

Glad to hear you like it. I've been doing it for almost 5 years. Can't imagine doing anything else.

Which gym moved?

We go to Thrive Fitness. It used to be over by Doc Walker's office but relocated behind the Sand Trap which is convenient as long as you can dodge bullets when walking in the door! :scared:

Just did my 1.25 mile walk and 40 sit ups for break (did 50 this morning, wasn't feeling it this afternoon).

My new lady friend I am seeing now has invited me to join her in the mornings at a local gym to work out with her...5:00am :wideyed: I thought she got there at 6:00 and I said I could try that. She's there till about 6:30 and said she'd love to have me there at least for a little while. I think I am going to take her up on it, I can use it especially now with golf season ending and basketball getting ready to take a ton of my time in the evenings.

We are thinking about doing the 5:45am classes for the very same reason - basketball.

Now, what's this about a new lady friend?!?!?!

Yeah, kind of been quiet about it. Been single again for a while, decided to start looking again and asked a lady I go to church with out. We haven't been seeing each other very long, but it seems to be going in a very positive direction and we have a lot of common interests. Her oldest daughter was a really good basketball player and she likes basketball quite a bit...and football. And she seems to really like me. Thats the trifecta. :lol2:

Awesome! It makes it a lot easier to have common interests for sure; especially with the amount of involvement you have in sports! I'm very happy for you! How are her coffee making skills?! :lol2:

(Sorry to sidetrack this thread, btw but this was important!)
