Hellbird
To be clear CCH has never claimed schools wouldn't play them. Any fans making said claim, which I've never read, are silly. Exactly. Thank you
UK#1fanisback
If Kings, DeSales, and Chatard have very good teams returning....well done! Kings always has a good team.
newarkcatholicfan
I would love to hear more information on these teams. @newarkcatholicfan @CardinalsFan DeSales should be a force again, but I am not sure they will be as good as they were in 2016. Kings is Kings and they seem to be ready for another good year. I think both will win no less than 7 games in 2017.
ColonelCrazy
Nope. Never said that as that is one tired myth always brought up by HHS and CCH fans. To be clear CCH has never claimed schools wouldn't play them. Any fans making said claim, which I've never read, are silly. Exactly. Thank you That was easy. Moving forward to 2017, I like the schedule. It's stacked with quality opponents but seems more manageable than prior years, which is a good thing. colonel-fan
King's loses quite a bit from last year's team. They should be solid by Kentucky standards, but won't be as good as last year.
Fear the Nation
I like the schedule, tough but not over the top. Should prepare them well.
Hellbird
Do you mean other teams that would not play CCH in the past will now agree to play them? That was easy. Moving forward to 2017, I like the schedule. It's stacked with quality opponents but seems more manageable than prior years, which is a good thing. @ColonelCrazy Seems you left out the one who did bring it up. That was easy
Samcro
Nope. Never said that as that is one tired myth always brought up by HHS and CCH fans. Show us the proof that that has been the case and I'd take it back. Seeing how Ryle has played HHS going back years and if they were willing to play HHS they surely weren't afraid to play CCH who was never at HHS caliber the last decade. Maybe schools like Ryle and Cooper and others were waitin for CCH to build up their program to make it worth while. I've never seen any proof that over the years CCH asking Cooper to play. You're right, CCH has been working hard to build up its program. Maybe they'll measure up someday...Colonel fans can only hope...
Hellbird
You're right, CCH has been working hard to build up its program. Maybe they'll measure up someday...Colonel fans can only hope... I thought 2 years ago was their year but last years team was even better. My remarks was directed to the member member who tried to say everyone in NKY hid from CCH. My point was, why would they be afraid of CCH when over the past decade they didn't do anything.

I haven't been a member for long, however, long enough to know that if a CCH person made such a comment, it was ignorant. You said CCH fans always bring it up. That's simply not true. The last decade until last year they never have won anything. No district title etc because Highlands was in their district. They seem to ride the HHS coat tails in thinking they were something special when in reality they had nothing to back it up all those years. That was all. I never meant they weren't any good, I meant they hadn't won anything to put themselves in an elite class that some of their fans put them in. Beating HHS in 2016 was no accomplishment. We'll see what the future holds. I don't think the CCH fan base is as delusional as you may think. I certainly haven't seen the fan base on BGP claim superiority over other NKY programs, especially the Boone County schools. Are there exceptions? Sure, but it's a very small number - EVERY school has them. Moving on...
