Testing" "Thank you...thank you....oh you're too kind....thank you.." (He waves at his excited adoring fans).... "Thank you...thank you so very much....now now let's not get carried away...thank you...thank you..." (He blushes and puts his hand over his heart in a gesture of mutual respect)... "thank you...oh you're too much, you're too much...thank you...ok ok now now...." (finally the crowd begins to settle and B-Ball-fan smiles and takes a deep breath) "That sure was fun wasn't it? ..... (The crowd erupts once more) :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa (B-Ball-fan waves and smiles to them, and then gestures for them to settle again once more)... (B-Ball-fan resumes his speech) "and since I had more than my share of gloating in Week 1 I'll be more reserved this time around, but would just like to thank BGP for this opportunity and great honor, and to @sweet16 for his dedication in running such a fantastic contest.... to all of my opponents who have graciously LOST to me in our titanic struggle...Well, for your titanic struggle...this contest was a breeze for me... but I digress...You don't know how it pained and humbled me WEEK AFTER VICTORIOUS WEEK to have to look down from high up in my perch only to see the gap widen and ever widen, separating me from the pack 'til I could barely see you anymore as you drifted off into the distance" (B-Ball-fan places his hand to his forehead demonstrating how he could barely see his competition drifting far far away from him)... "With all of that said I think that the elephant in the room and the big head scratcher was why did @plantmanky abruptly quit playing when he was in the lead, and had been the leader most of the way up until that point in the competition?" "Now don't mistake this as a complaint because I am forever grateful that he did bail from the competition, but while my winning was terribly EASY, what is difficult for me to understand is how and why he gave up the fight and just let victory slip from right out of his clutch?" "But nonetheless it takes ENDURANCE to be a WINNER and that's a trait that not everyone shares." January 4, 20179 yr Nice job B-Ball-Fan. Being 5 back with two weeks left I had to pick a lot of teams just because you didn't. Figured I had nothing to lose since second pays the same as last in this contest.
