January 1, 20179 yr They need to release Hill. He is not a good RB. Burkhead is so much better it isn't funny. Burkhead is a power runner and hits the holes with purpose. Hill only has break away speed going for him and if he can't get through the line he is nothing.
January 1, 20179 yr Agreed completely. On Burkhead: I didn't know I could stay THAT happy for 3 hours. Call your doctor
January 2, 20179 yr I still think that if they have a WR they like fall to them in the 2nd round they'll take him. I think last year they HAD to take a WR and settled on Boyd because he was the best one left after the WR spree that took place in front of them. I'm not sold Boyd will ever be able to match what Jones did the last 2 years and if we're honest that's what we're looking for. I know Lafell filled that void this year, but I don't see him as the long term solution there. I think Cody Core has a chance to be like Marvin Jones. Remember Jones was also a late round pick like Core. I think Boyd has a chance to be a better version of Sanu though. Also we may have lucked out with the other wrs going in the first round. None of those guys really did much of anything. I see Boyd ending up being a TJ Houshmandzadeh type. Never going to be a #1 type wr but will be a very good #2 wr who runs great routes and catches everything.
January 2, 20179 yr Jones gave the Bengals a 3rd reliable red zone target. Hard to cover 3 of those guys. Boyd was invisible all year when they reached the red zone. In fairness to Boyd, Jones didn't do much at all his rookie year. It took until Sanu got hurt late in the year for Jones to start playing some his rookie year.

Hill only has break away speed going for him and if he can't get through the line he is nothing. I am to sure although he has regressed in my mind. The reason is Burkhead is not a power runner, he is a hard runner, but you are correct he hits the hole better than any back we have. There is nothing I don't like about him. 3rd and two I still take Hill.

There is nothing I don't like about him. 3rd and two I still take Hill. Plus Burkhead has been injury prone and he has barely played. So it would be a risk getting rid of Hill, especially with Gio coming off his second ACL tear. You almost have to find away to convince Rex to stay because you don't know how Gio will look next year. Offer Rex a really big one year deal. Tell him with Gio recovering he will have a chance to really play alot and get his stock even higher. Then basically after next year extend either Rex or Hill since Hill is a free agent next year.
January 2, 20179 yr Terrible season for the Bengals. Hopefully they can get it together for next season

I wish they would have went to him some in the red zone today. I want to see him get a lot more playing time next year to see what we really have but it all depends on resigning Lafell. If they resign Lafell, Core may get lost in the shuffle.

Football fans can be the worst, myself probably being one of the worst. We demand instant success or they are a bum basically. Heck after the first 2 games of the year they called Zeke a bust down in Dallas.
January 2, 20179 yr Terrible season for the Bengals. Hopefully they can get it together for next season Ehh it wasn't terrible. They lost a game and tied a game exclusively on multiple missed kicks. So that puts them at 8-8. Green was out the second half of the year and Eifert was out a good part of the year. With the string of health they had basically ever since Dalton has been here it finally caught up to them. Should just be a blip on the radar.

January 2, 20179 yr What time is their playoff game? After going to the playoffs 5 years in a row and 6 of 8 years. I'll take it. This is the Bengals here we take baby steps.
