They put a team that did not even get to their conference title game into the playoff and this is the result. No, not at all. For all those saying PSU should have been in, well PSU did t do what they needed to to get in they had 2 losses to teams they shouldn't have lost to. Committee did what they had to do.

Committee did what they had to do. True ... with OSU with just one loss the committee was stuck. Big Ten has flopped in the bowls so far. PSU, Wisconsin, Iowa need to win just to get the conference respectable this bowl season.
January 1, 20179 yr I think this season shows how good a coach Urban Meyer is. OSU lost almost everybody off last year's team and almost nobody had them in the top 4 in the beginning of the year. This team was very young and to get them into the playoffs was probably one of his better coaching jobs. The team should be better next year but I worry about how good they can be with JT at QB. JT does a lot of positive things but is just not consistent enough in the passing game. I still wonder if OSU would have won the NC two years ago if JT would not have gotten hurt and Cardale Jones replaced him. Urban loves JT and I just don't see him replacing JT so next year will be interesting. CBS had them 5th Preseason AP had them 6th Preseason Coaches Poll had them 5th Preseason Maybe not Top 4, but top 5 or 6 isn't that bad either. So it's not like they were coming from that far back to start the year :lol2:
January 1, 20179 yr With all of the blow outs, where is the outcry to stop this "Participation Trophy Tourney" and just match the two best teams in the title game? In the last four first round playoff games the #3 and #4 seeds have only been able to score 24 points combined...in four games!

I actually have no issue with 8 or even 16 if just to stop the whining by those who think for some reason a team like UL or FSU could actually win. In basketball they let 68 in, every team that misses out has a chance to play their way in by winning their conference tournament and there are still whiners every year.

January 1, 20179 yr What two teams did you mention? I actually just mentioned 3 in my explanations. UL, FSU and PSU. But I can limit it down to 2 if you like. Remember I have no problem tossing jabs at other fan bases, that's what sports fans do to have fun. I don't have the thin skin that some other fans have so again, what is your point?
