December 28, 20169 yr He gets it. Cam Newton fulfills wish for young Auburn fan with severe heart condition
December 28, 20169 yr I love Cam. I fell in love with him at Auburn when I watched him play UK. Hands down the greatest college football player I ever watched in person. Great to see he is equally as good of a person.
December 28, 20169 yr Have always liked this guy. He's passionate about his craft and compassionate to folks in need.
December 28, 20169 yr Love it. Cam's focus on the kids sets him apart from a lot of guys, IMO. :thumb:
December 28, 20169 yr That's nice of him and thoughtful and does more than a lot of players or celebs. But he isn't the only one who does this stuff either, many others do stuff and never have it reported.

Ref, I don't doubt your post at all, but I'll bet those that do things like this are in a minority.

I know for a fact many Bengal players also do things like this. I love seeing Cam Newton do this and any and all players who do these things.

I think it's important to note that the players almost never are the ones that publicize these things.
December 28, 20169 yr Did see on the local news that Pac Man, Burfict and Whitworth went to the same school that they appeared at last year and had given out 5 bikes as part of a contest at the school. Decided that they did not want kids that did not win to be disappointed so they bought 257 bikes so that every student got one this year.
December 29, 20169 yr Ref, I don't doubt your post at all, but I'll bet those that do things like this are in a minority. John Wall, Demarcus Cousins do a lot as well. I hope Cam did it out of kindness of his heart and not for his image. Which has taken a beating this year. But kudos for him for this.
