December 19, 20169 yr Author Are we going to know the results today? As I posted in another thread, I heard a report that the votes will not be tabulated till early January. Hopefully not true. I think 95% + of the people just want this thing done so we can stop talking about all this bologna. Congress will certify the vote in January but I think we'll know the results earlier.

Dec 19, 2016 2:31 PM EST Wyoming cast 3 votes for Donald Trump. Dec 19, 2016 2:25 PM EST New Mexico cast 5 votes for Hillary Clinton. Dec 19, 2016 2:25 PM EST The count: Donald Trump has 224 votes; Hillary Clinton has 103 votes. There are 211 votes pending. A candidate needs 270 votes to be elected president. 224 + 18 + 3 = 245. 270 to win.

December 19, 20169 yr There has already been a faithless elector. An elector in Maine voted for Bernie Sanders. A Minnesota elector wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton and they had to swear in a new one to vote Hillary. So far, no issues with Trump but a couple of issues with Hillary.

December 19, 20169 yr I read that. Don't even know what that means.I assume Maine electors are not allowed to vote for who they want. Since he/she was obligated by law to vote for Clinton they had to change their vote from Bernie to HRC.
