So what happens to the memorabilia of these schools that no longer exist?

 

I know Trinity has a display w/ some Flaget memorabilia in the main building/rotunda. All of my uncles and dad attended Flaget so there was definitely a lot of Flaget alums that sent their kids to Trinity. St X & Flaget were the big rival back in the day before Flaget shut down.

TJ was located in the Newburg area of town, off Rangeland Road I believe. I think that Moore, Fern Creek, Southern and Seneca would be the closest high schools to that area. Even though the school was not in existence for very long, it had some excellent football and basketball teams.

Anyone that remembers Flaget knows that it wasn't an everybody gets a trophy kind of place.

I have been told before that the high schools that closed during this time were converted to Middle Schools, but I could have some bad info on this.

This reminds me of the Kirk Russell & Robin Williams movie "The Best of Times"!!!!

They need to get these guys back together and settle it!

Westport, Stuart, and Thomas Jefferson became middle schools, Ahrens closed and became office space, etc, Durret closed became adult education center, JCPS offices, then became Male later when Male relocated there.
