As I said in the MC-SP game thread, this Royal team will be a step quicker than they were last year. With their lack of size this year, pressure defense without committing a slew of fouls will be key.

Team chemistry looks really good too. This team will contend come regional tourney time.

Simon Kenton hit half court buzzer beater.

Royals looked solid, really impressed with the play of Levi Dunaway. Dunaway finished with 36.

 

I mentioned Levi in my earlier posts suggesting he was solid at last season's end and would continue to improve this year.

Fun game to watch. SK kids played hard especially on offensive glass. Mason kids really got after it on the press. In the end, free throw shooting for SK was a big difference in the game. Not sure what they shot but it couldn't have been 50%. Surprised by small crowd from Mason County fans.

I missed this one on my contest picks. Should have gone with Mason at their place. They usually protect their home hardwood to the max.

The Crowd was affected by the all of the Christmas events going on around town last night.
