LCA had a great year and will be REALLY tough next year. Hats off to Wheatley who is a bull RB! Any team would love to have him.

Hard to beat a 4.5, 40 Physical QB. Add that to Wheatley, difference maker.

All im saying is a major playmaker was not on the field, How would it have looked if Van Cleave sits? Honestly.........

Vancleave is a junior, as most of this team outside of Dampier and Stanfield. Hats off to LCA they had a great season and Wheatley, Stuckey, Miller and #13 will be a hard force to stop next year.

Danville played probably its best complete game of the year. I thought what they had game planned really paid off in the second half and was really impressed with the Ads on the defensive front for holding up a whole game with Wheatley and the big Oline beating on them.

 

#13 is Drayden Burton. Great great kid and I was hoping to see LCA pull out the win because of him.

 

I agree. LCA brings back a lot of pieces next season. They should have another successful season next year.

Agreed, Sour grapes I guess. Danville is an Excellent team, Dampier is one of the best QBs in the state. Fun to watch. #7 is beyond fast. Just would liked to have seen it all again at full strength.

I'm not sure what LCA was thinking honestly. I know they had Danville well scouted. It makes no sense whatsoever to kick the ball to VanCleave. And they got extremely lucky as they actually kicked it his direction two other times...once he had one foot in the end zone and the other took a lucky bounce and got past him. You absolutely cannot kick the ball to that kid. Ever.

When LCA beat The Ads did you see any post about starters out??? No you didn't. Stanfield the starting WR/CB was out after the first series in the last game. The starting safety was out one half. No one from ADS side posted excuses with them being out. Stop making excuses and shoulda couldas on the LCA loss because you are really making people think less of the great year/team you had. Move on, see you in 2017.

Congratulations to the Ads, the east has definitely made its way back, just a matter at this point of when someone from it wins state. I know many aren't considering eastern teams as favorites including myself, but it wouldn't surprise me if it changes soon. 2A is a class by itself for competitive football IMO. Congratulations to both teams on successful seasons.
