I'm not sure what LCA was thinking honestly. I know they had Danville well scouted. It makes no sense whatsoever to kick the ball to VanCleave. And they got extremely lucky as they actually kicked it his direction two other times...once he had one foot in the end zone and the other took a lucky bounce and got past him. You absolutely cannot kick the ball to that kid. Ever.

 

Couldn't agree with you more. He was a huge factor in the game...if not the factor. He's a difference maker on the field and everyone knew it. With out a doubt the most explosive player we played against all year.

 

Good luck to Danville. They earned it in a hard fought/hard hitting game. Represent the East well!
