How they justify Michigan at 3 is beyond me.

You don't see a path for them? Michigan or more likely Ohio State is going to get beat next week eliminating them from the playoffs. No one behind them will end with a better record with the possible exception of Washington and they may lose again before the season is over.

I think they'll put a Big 10 Champion in over them. If they liked UofL they would be in now. Their resume is already set in stone it's not getting better, everyone's else's is.

Ohio St or Michigan's isn't getting better, one of them goes off the rails in 2 weeks. Louisville's best bet is for Michigan to win and then win the B1G, that would leave the B1G with only one team in and UofL could stroll right in.

The winners resume is getting WAY better how does beating a top 3 team not make your resume better? But Michigan winning is the only scenario I see for UofL.

Pretty much, unless they leave out the Big10 champ if it's Penn St or Wisconsin....which they should.

Yeah one of them is but the other get's eliminated...but they are both ahead of Louisville now. Their resumes don't matter, one will likely get in and the other won't, which opens a new spot in the top 4 for the #5 team to move up.

Louisville's biggest fan is still Michigan, even though they have to be the luckiest college football team right now by far. Michigan lost to Iowa, smh.

Yeah the committee just isn't going to give Louisville the credit they deserve but that's fine.

If Ohio St or Michigan either one find a way to win the title, IMO it would be a lock for Louisville to get in as the rest of the B1G would be on the outside looking in.

The thing with UofL is there resume isn't very good at all. They've only beaten only 2 FBS teams with a winning record. Also Ohio State lost on the road in an equally as hostile environment in Happy Valley. UofL case is that anyone with half a brain can clearly see that UofL is a top 4 team in the country. Top 3 imo and I wouldn't be upset if you flip flopped them and Ohio State and I'm a huge OSU homer so that should mean a lot coming from me. Haha There aren't stats to back up UofL being in the top 4, but all you have to do is watch them to understand how good they are.

They'll leave Penn State out. Harder to leave Wisconsin out. Good schedule. Only losses were close to teams in or nearly in the playoff. Wins over LSU, Nebraska and Penn State would help. That's three top 20 wins and a Conference championship in probably the deepest conference this year. Louisville would have one.

 

Oklahoma will be interesting to watch. They play #11 and #14 and seem to be playing their best football. Don't think they get in though.

 

To me Louisville is one of the four best teams. I think that Alabama and Ohio State are better. I think Michigan or Wisconsin may be better. I think Louisville is better than Clemson or Washington. But like I've said all week, Louisville had their shot and came up short. Alabama would be the only team that can gripe if it misses the playoff if they continue to take care of business.

Death Valley is way more hostile than Happy Valley. I mean just look at the name.

I'm not sold they value conference titles. I think they will use it as a way to break ties so to speak. If they truly valued them tOSU wouldn't be in.
