...that Trump used racism to help him win this election?

 

We've heard how Hillary pandered to different groups of folks, but so did DT. He used the fear of minorities to get White rural Americans to vote for him. He got the angry white man and his wife who hate BO (and minorities in general) out to vote for him. He used that, the fact that Clinton was just as terrible of a candidate, and the IQ of some of his voters to get the votes he needed.

 

Will anyone that voted for him acknowledge that?

 

And no, that doesn't mean that everyone who voted for him falls into that category, so save your breath on that.

Where do you get these items you state as facts? We were voting for Trump the day he announced his candidacy, we thought a businessman in the Whitehouse was a good change. He could relate to the same business strangling regulations we were under. Papaw and I are neither college educated but I took every tax and accounting course I could and then I had to learn computers for the office and Papaw took several classes for every year to keep up with engine and drivetrain improvements and air conditioning and regulations for air quality. Also, classes for use and disposal of several classifications hazardous chemicals. And then he had to learn to use computers for diagnostics. I guess you could say we learned a lot of our business as the government improved theirs. We read everything we got our hands on that pertained to our business. No, Papaw and I do not hate President Obama or any minority. We may not like his methods, like Executive Orders but they are legal, and he's well within his rights. In fact, according to the latest numbers, Papaw and I are now in an age minority. When we decided to back Trump, we did not even know who else would throw their hat in the ring, Ds and Rs. I think our number one reason to vote for Trump, we realized later we did not want a liberal SCOTUS for our families for the next 40 years.

I truly feel that Trump is at the least racially insensitive and he has been empowered by racism that he used in ways to help get him elected. Too many people see it and acknowledge it. His opponent being Hillary Clinton helped him a ton as well. He ran a masterful campaign and I acknowledge that. The route he took to victory was disturbing and eye opening.

 

For me me that is the difference racially when looking at Bush, Obama and Trump.

He got out the vote. Regardless of his methods I at least gotta give him credit for that.

I don't have to like him. And as long as he can do some good, I'll do my best to let bygones be bygones. But if I see evidence that such attitudes are influencing policy in a negative way toward women and minorities, I won't hesitate to call it out. There is a lot at stake for both groups.
