November 10, 20169 yr Not IMO. Now had Obama been saying to blacks something like "I am going to get us our 40 acres and a mule that we are owed" then I would call that pandering. He didn't have to pander to get the black vote. Trump had to work to secure the votes amongst whites that he did and I can only imagine the true fallout had Obama taken that same approach with black people in 2008. He never would have won. Obama didn't have to. Many people voted for him simply because he was black. And some voted against him for the same reason.

November 10, 20169 yr Because a lot of blacks know the real truth about Hillary. That's what killed me about this election. Folks were so worried about Hillary's emails. Nevermind that she and Bill used the government to make money for themselves and their friends in the private prison scheme that played a large role in the mass incarceration of blacks. The black vote she did get was purely an anti-Trump vote. Dave Chappelle described it perfectly. So they choose not to is what your saying.

November 10, 20169 yr Obama didn't have to. Many people voted for him simply because he was black. And some voted against him for the same reason. Agreed. I believe that a lot of the ones who voted for Obama because he was black didn't vote at all in this election.
