I believe that the reason the results were so shocking and counter to what most of the polls were saying is that there were a lot of folks polled who were too embarrassed and/or ashamed to let anyone know publicly that they were going to vote for Candidate Trump. Just a gut feeling.

Every interview I have seen or heard people who did not "poll out" said they were "afraid" of retaliation by the left if they supported Trump...... It would appear that their fears are playing out in the streets as has been mentioned earlier in this thread....just that the it's the losing side of the ballot that is doing the acting out, not the Trump supporters. Irony is a two sided coin...
