Of course, Trump being gracious in victory surprised me too.

Hillary closed her speech with a scripture reference from the Bible. I'm genuinely curious to know how many scripture references were made by either of the candidates during the entirety of their campaigns.

 

Tim Kaine also had a pretty heavy-handed scriptural reference, talking about the Parable Of The Great Banquet and effectively likening Hillary to God in the way she welcomes the people in her campaign. That made me turn my nose up pretty quickly.

Can you imagine what the campaign would've been for both of them had they had the same tone/demeanor/message that they've had in these last two speeches? Amazing the differences.

That might be the only speech from her I've watched in its entirety besides her convention speech, but this was the best I've heard her sound.

I watched most of the event in Philadelphia on Monday night with her and President Obama. She looked visibly uncomfortable and shaky in her words. Obama was magnificent and then she followed and was just not the same. It should have prepared me for what came the following night.
