Haven't heard one thing about Doss all year and now they are the favorite to beat CovCath. Is it because they beat the mighty Birds this year? Who hasn't? I am sure Doss is a solid football team. I haven't seen any games that they have played, but I have seen CovCath. CovCath has beaten much bigger teams before this season. I wouldn't suggest just because a team is bigger that they are going to win. What else can you elaborate on that would help me understand why CovCath is the underdog now?

Who is over confident? Is it CCH's football team, is it a small handful of their parents who have mouths a little too big for their own good? I can think of a school whose name starts with an H who has an awful lot of parents with the same problem.

 

Doss ain't gonna win this one. CCH won't have a running clock, but Doss' season is going to end on Friday.

Well imo, the Blueboys will roll in this one. So not even a canon, a bus with a tired driver and a group of snobby pals on a top deck will have any impact on this game whatsoever...:thumb:

I think that this will be a fairly high scoring affair. Cov Cath has given up some points this year, but hasn't struggled to score. Doss seems to be a fairly balanced team offensively, so that could pose a problem for the Colonels.

Being a CCH fan, I predict 38 - 35 Colonels on a final second field goal. Student section on the field, elation in the stands, cats and dogs living together, etc...

Huh! Which players? I couldn't see many the other night from our vantage point up high on the rooftop. #75 maybe and receivers were tall and lanky, not physically bigger. Well, bigger than Highlands yeah but not CCH. Especially Zig. He alone will manhandle several at a time.
